Constantly calling something by another name doesn’t ACTUALLY make it change into something else. It just changes YOU. That’s called a delusion.
I don’t see the big “disconnect” everyone is always talking about between so-called “virtual reality” and reality-reality. (I guess that’s what they call it) When the telegraph came along, then the phone, then radio and television, there was no discussion of some alternate plane of existence. I think people have been watching way too much Star Trek and Stargate while dropping acid!

I have included this very impressive looking chart to prove to the sheeple that I know what I’m talking about.
Computers are tools. The Internet is just a bunch of radio and telegraph networks connecting computers. And we’ve gotten good enough with the stuff to include TV content. People need to get off their collective high horse. We’re still stuck on Earth, trashing the place with blinding speed, killing each other over stuff our SHARED ancestors did thousands of years ago, and trying to find ways to get stuff we didn’t earn no matter who gets hurt in the process. We aren’t all that bright and sophisticated. Like monkeys who have found our reflections in a mirror, we ARE…however…easily impressed with ourselves and can remain mesmerized by our own image for hours upon hours, accomplishing absolutely nothing of merit in the meantime.
Our communication tools have improved by quantum leaps, yet our ability to communicate has not. In fact, one could make a fairly good case that it may have gotten worse in recent times.

And that concludes our lesson for today.
